Connected:
PVBC
Mexico Missions Trip will
be August 11-17 this year. The first informational meeting is scheduled for May
18th. For any youth planning on going or interested in going on this
trip, it is mandatory that at least one parent be present for the meeting.
Church
Family Retreat registration
forms are available at Connection Central. This year’s retreat will be over the
Labor Day weekend, Saturday to Monday, August 30 – September 1, with optional
Friday segment. If you are able to help
with planning or preparations, contact the church office.
Joyful
Noise Music Camp is August
4-8 for grades K-8. Pick up a flyer and registration form at the Connection

Time on Sunday

join together for praise and prayer in Room 1.
Simplified Coffee Hour: You may have noticed a simplified
format for our coffee hour. In this way we hope to bring our whole family
together in worship and give opportunity for new volunteers to serve. We will continue
to plan “special celebration” occasions. Call the church office with questions
or to volunteer.

Youth & College News
1. Next Sunday: Combined youth/adult
worship service in the Sanctuary. Next youth worship is May 18th. 9-11 grade girls are serving.

FNF Night: This Friday,
May 9th, 7:30
pm at PVBC.
3. College/Young Adult Group: Meets the 2nd Saturday of every
month from 10:30 am
– 2:30. Lunch is provided. Next meeting is May 10th.
4. Bowling Night: Friday, May 23rd. We will be meeting at PV Bowl on Crenshaw at 7:30 pm. After
bowling we will be walking across the street and eating dinner at In N’
Out. You can pick up your children from
In N’ Out at 10:00 pm. The cost for two games of bowling and shoe
rental is $12, plus any money you will need for dinner. If you have any questions or need a ride
