“Good
Soil” Showing on Saturday,
April 26th, 7:00 p.m. This new release is set in Japan
in the early 1600’s. It is an inspiring
story of one man’s faith to stand firm in the face of the growing Tokugawa
persecution. The film is in Japanese and
English. The movie’s creator, Craig Shimahara, will speak after the showing about the movie and
also the history of Christianity in Japan. Invite your friends. Admission is free.
Joyful
Noise Music Camp is August
4-8 for grades K-8. “God’s World is
Awesome” so get ready to experience the fantastic energy and fun of collective
music-making with our wonderful staff led by musical director George Makinto. Pick up a
flyer at the Connection Table.
Church
Family Retreat will be
over the Labor Day weekend, Saturday to Monday, August 30 – September 1, with
optional Friday segment. Rev. Ron
Matsuda will be the adult speaker.

He came to his present ministry nearly eleven years ago after a 22-year
pastoral ministry, including a decade as senior pastor of the First Baptist

1. Next Sunday: Youth and adult combined worship service in the
Sanctuary.

FNF Night: No FNF this Friday, we will be at Planet
Wisdom. Our next FNF is April 25th,

3. College/Young Adult Group: Meets the 2nd Saturday of every
month from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm. Lunch is provided. Next meeting is May 10th.

Planet Wisdom: Friday – Saturday, April
18-19. Youth conference at Calvary Church, Santa Ana. We will be staying Friday night at the Holiday Inn Orange County. We will be leaving around 4:00
