Reflection Questions and Spiritual Practices to accompany

Reflection Questions:
What fears and griefs do you carry with you on this Easter Sunday?
How does God invite you to lay those before him?
What areas is the “Gardener” tending to, redeeming and bringing life to in you or in the community around you?
Spiritual Practice: Plant a seed or seedling
On this Easter, whether you’re a green thumb or not, try the practice of planting a new seedling, seed, flower, succulent, etc. The practice of planting a new seedling traditionally symbolizes new growth, life and resurrection. The act of taking care of the plant is also a reminder of the ways that God tends to us as His beloved. We pray God meets you in these simple symbols and reminders.
P.S. Don’t fret if the plant doesn’t make it. There is grace for our skills as gardeners and the symbolism and metaphor only go so far!
