FAMILY NEWS & REMINDERS

·     ** NEW ** 40 Days of Prayer.  Be part of the church-wide event to focus on prayer For 6 weeks, learn to love to pray though daily devotions, Sunday worship celebrations, weekly small group sessions and “unceasing” prayer times. Youth small groups will meet during Friday’s FNF.

·     Youth Car Rally.  Friday, October 10th, 7:00 p.m.  Ask your parents if they can drive. Sign up drivers with KMats.

·     ** NEW ** Café PVBC.   Saturday October 25, starting at 7 p.m.  For all ages.  Drop by and invite your friends for an evening of fellowship, refreshment and (mostly) worship music. Free. Music provided by PVBC worship teams.

·     FNF at Evergreen Baptist LA.  Friday, October 31st. Join EBCLA and PVBC for a wild evening of fun and fellowship. Leave PVBC at 6:00 p.m.  You must RSVP to Alex by Oct. 26 so we can arrange rides.

·     2008 Annual Passes – if you go to many of our events, and your parents don’t want to keep filling out a new permission slip every time, have them fill out a “2008 PVBC Annual Pass” (get one in the fellowship hall or online)

·     Facebook:  Check out our youth group Facebook page (PVBC Youth) for announcements and updates.

·     Youth Photos:  Photos are at pvbcyouthgroup.snapfish.com.  You need to register and create an account. 

·     Got a “God-story” to share? Tell it to your peers on a Friday night as a testimony and praise to God!

·     Accountability Groups: Grab some brothers (if you’re a guy) or sisters (if you’re a girl) and meet regularly for prayer and to support each other in your spiritual walk.

·     Take care...around our church:

·     Be quiet when others are in class or worship!

·     Keep things neat; don’t leave your stuff at church!

·     Use the blue “Recycle” bin outside the fellowship hall for aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles, and newspapers.  No trash please (food, etc.).

·     Magazines, Bibles, Devotionals & Answers to Tough Questions: Check out some great Bibles for sale at cost (Quest, Student Life Application). Also, free personal devotional books, magazines and Focus on the Family’s answers to tough questions booklets…all free at the resources table.
