The Philippians 4 Fund was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic which has left many jobless and worrying if they can provide food for their family and a place to live. Many missionaries and ministries are struggling to continue their important work. PVBC wants to be a part of bringing “the peace of God which surpasses all understanding” (Philippians 4:7) into the hearts of minds of those whom God loves. Click the video below for details!

Through PVBC’s generous giving, we have already been able to:
Provide a month’s worth of groceries for 140 families!
Enable hot meals for almost 700 people!
Support homelessness prevention, especially for those who have graduated from homelessness but have now been laid off because of virus-related shutdowns.
Provide immediate relief to people in ministry and in our community who have lost their jobs because of virus-related shutdowns.

For one recipient, the gift came at a time when they said they needed it most. Receiving from people who are not biological family nor close friends pierced their heart. It was a revelation of what love looks like from God through others, especially when they did not ask nor reveal their need.
